Working in broadcast has always been a desire for Jordan since he was a kid. At the age of 19, Jordan got his start in the broadcast industry as an intern with the local CBS/FOX stations working in promotions and news production departments. After two semesters of interning there, he was hired on as a promotions producer. This was his dream of working with the local news station since he was little as he watched the same station when he was younger.

In mid 2012, he stepped away from the broadcast industry for a few years attending community college but helping out as a freelance when needed for local television broadcasts. In 2017, he was hired on by American General Media – Santa Maria, the area’s dominant cluster of radio stations as a street team-promotions assistant. Eventually becoming a full time programming assistant for their AM station, promotions assistant and on-air talent for AGM’s country station, Sunny Country 102.5. He quickly moved from overnight’s to 7p-Midnight and then over to Midday.

Becoming an on-air talent for Sunny Country was also a reflection of the past for Jordan; he and his late Dad when Jordan was a kid, would record fictional radio shows occasionally. Doing something that was once pretend, now real is something he hopes makes his Dad proud.

Jordan is a native to the Central Coast; in 2002, he and his family spent seven years living in the Nashville area before returning in 2009. He graduated from high school in Tennessee and currently holds a degree in Multimedia Arts & Communication and an AA degree with Honors for Film, Radio and Television attending both Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA and Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
