Ella Langley’s “Weren’t for the Wind” marks her second No. 1 single on the Country Radio Charts, following “You Look Like You Love Me” featuring Riley Green.

The song has also been officially certified platinum by the RIAA, becoming her second single to achieve this status. “Weren’t for the Wind” was written by Ella, Joybeth Taylor, and Johnny Clawson, with production by Will Bundy.

Langley posted on X: “‘Weren’t for the wind’ is #1 on country radio baby!!! So proud of this song everything that it’s done and continues to do. Thank y’all for loving this song. Also, thank you to Joybeth Taylor and Johnny Clawson for helping me write it. So grateful today. God is good 🤍

Weren’t for the Wind was originally featured on the deluxe version of Ella’s debut album, Still Hungover, and comes on the heels of Ella’s latest single release, “Never Met Anyone Like You” featuring Hardy. Langley is also currently on tour as direct support on Riley Green’s North American Damn Country Music Tour and opening for Morgan Wallen on his I’m The Problem Tour. Ella recently announced additional dates on her Still Hungover headlining tour this fall.
